I wrote a book and I published in 2016, October, and then I started, I started pursuing a better relationship with the Lord. I was also doing speaking events regarding my book and I was scheduled for a speaking event in November 2017 at this church, at First Baptist Church in Newcastle, Indiana. So I went, did this speaking event and so I was just kind of warming up everybody and then the main speaker came out. And when I met her, she was an author as well. And something told me I just needed to meet with her. So I met with her in November 2017 at a Starbucks after this event. As we’re sitting in Starbucks, she starts staring out the window and she’s like, “Yes, Lord. Yes. Okay. God says you need to get rooted in get foundation and rooted in and like a tree, get deep rooted, and he’s going to use you as a pillar and, I see thousands of people around you, and he’s going to take cuss words off your lips.”

And I was like, What the? What is happening here? Like, I didn’t even know what a prophetess was, or prophecy. I didn’t. I didn’t know any of that. I thought people who spoke in tongues just smoked really good weed. I just thought something was way off with them. I’m just being honest.

And so she’s like, “Your tattoos, God’s going to use those to draw people in. You’re going to start speaking in tongues in your travel trailer.” And I’m like, this woman is nuts–I don’t know what’s happening. So I contacted a dear sister that runs the Bible study at the church after this meeting, and she’s like, How’d your meeting go?

I’m like,” it was weird! I don’t even understand.” She’s like, “well, she’s a prophetess.” And I said, “what is that?” So she described and I didn’t know, what do they call it, “Christianese,” the language and all the words. This was November 2017. So I started pursuing, more. Like, Lord, if tongues is from You, the gift of tongues is from You, I want it. I want whatever You want to give me. And then on January 20, or excuse me, January 17, I threw out all my weed. I threw out all my cigarettes, and all my alcohol, and I took the bag up out of the travel trailer, and I took it outside, because I knew it would call to me. I was a 20-plus-year smoker and a drinker. I took everything outside and I threw it away. I went back in my travel trailer, and I got really dramatic. I grabbed my Bible and I just stomped my travel trailer. I said, “Addiction, you will no longer control me. You have no authority in my life, in Jesus’ name.” And I was instantly delivered of all of it. Every bit of it. Like, I haven’t had a desire to smoke weed. I haven’t had a desire to smoke cigarettes. I have not drank. So January 17, I began speaking in tongues, January 20. I threw everything away and claimed my victory and God delivered me. The moment I was speaking in tongues in my travel trailer, my mind was like, “This is insane, you’re making this up.” And the Lord brought to me Proverbs 3:5. He’s like, you know, lean not unto your own understanding. And I knew I you know, Kyna, you’re almost 40 you’ve never spoke like this. This is not you. And I just kept going. And so I kept praying in tongues every day. By this time, my daughter came home from college. She was having a real hard time. But she was seeing what was happening to me, because I didn’t smoke cigarettes anymore. I didn’t drink anymore. I didn’t cuss and I didn’t realize my language was changing. And I didn’t even notice. My kid did. She’s, you know, 18 years old. “Mom, what is happening?”

And I’m like Jesus!. He’s so good. I just I was a mess. I made videos of it online. I was such a dork because I make videos. And I’m like, “you guys do you know Jesus?”

I was a wreck. So my daughter comes home. She can’t climb in the travel trailer because her feet hurt so bad. So I get her in the travel trailer and sit her down. I hadn’t prayed for anybody. I just knew God was good. Jesus loves me and I was free, and He can do it. So I grabbed her feet and I prayed. I told her to stand up and her eyes about popped out of her head and the Lord touched her. And I’m like, Don’t say anything else! Let me pray more. Her shoulders hurt so I prayed for her shoulders. And I’m like, we got to go to town. You know, we need to go to Walmart. So we went to Walmart and Taco Bell and everywhere we went, people were touched, it was phenomenal. And my daughter got embarrassed by me. She didn’t want anything to do with it. Even though she had just got healed. I couldn’t [believe it.] I’m like, how can you not be excited? I was just really excited. It was so good.

So we get back to the house and my neighbor, who had blessed me and let me stay there, was a 70 year old man who had no cartilage in his knees for 10 years. They told me he needed a knee replacement. And I’m like, I’m going over to the neighbors. So I run over there. He’s sitting in his chair and I run in his house and I’m yelling. “Jesus is going to heal you!” This poor old man is like okay. He just sat there as calm as could be. And I run over and I put my hands on his knees and, I just start praying. I’m like “Lord we need a miracle. Holy Spirit, I ask you to come and Jesus just heal this man right now. Cartilage grow in Jesus’ name.” And I can’t explain what happened next, I felt movement under both of my palms. And it was the most insane thing I’ve ever felt in my life. About 45 minutes later, he could bend and step up and I mean, he had brand new knees. To this day he’ll text randomly and [say,] “my knees are still good.” So God gave him brand new knees and of course after that you can’t be the same. I literally laid in bed looking at my hands the entire night. Because I was like, what is going on here? This is crazy awesome.

I just knew God was good. I know He wants us well now and the same Holy Spirit that raised Him from the dead is in me. The same Holy Spirit that was in Paul is in us, you know. It’s not a different Holy Spirit. It’s the same Holy Spirit.

I heard about the Power and Love down here. I came down here for the Power and Love because my whole life was shifting. I got sponsored for the event. I had eight days in the woods before the Power and Love down here. It was just me, God. No electric, just a tent, me and Him in the woods. And it was awesome. And God was like, I want you to learn to better receive. And I thought He meant His love and His provision and His forgiveness and I was just grasping onto those moments with Him. I got out of the woods and went to the Power and Love. I watched people get healed and touched and [I] prayed for people. Got confirmation on my book about some things because at that time, I was like, should I take my book off the shelves? And then [I] started having people give me confirmation. A woman in line at the Power and Love ran up and said, “what book are you talking about?” Because I was sharing my book with someone else. And she heard the conversation. She said the book completely changed her son’s life and saved his life. And I’m like, “my book?” Like I showed her a picture of my book. Like, are you sure? This is Texas. What are you crazy?

But no, [it was] my book, because it’s raw and it’s real. And she said that, that’s a whole nother story…But her son and his wife were struggling with alcohol and addiction and the book actually saved their marriage! They turned away from everything because of that book. Then I start getting messages about some crazy things, like, [I] “haven’t been to church in three years, and I’m taking my kids now after I read your book,” just crazy confirmations like that. It’s only God. I got back to Indiana from that trip and a woman from the church walked up to me and said, “Listen, this is gonna sound crazy. But while you were gone, the Holy Spirit told me I’m supposed to pay your debt. And I need you to get every bill you have together, because I’m going to pay it for you.”

And I was like, What, you know, are you serious? And it literally took me a week and a half to follow through because I couldn’t wrap my head around that was actually happening. I couldn’t believe it. You know? That doesn’t happen to me.

I was sitting on my couch in my travel trailer and Lord’s like, what are you doing? I have brought someone to help you. Get your bills together. I mean, it was almost like a kick. I was like, “Okay, I’m doing it!” And literally took my bills and got them together. And not only my debt, but my daughter’s debt got paid in full. And then this lady says. “I’m supposed to purchase you a new truck, and a new travel trailer.” And I was like, This is crazy. I don’t understand what’s happening. But I was taken to the lot and I was allowed to pick out any truck I wanted. And I can’t even explain that. God gave me a vision of the truck in a dream. So I knew what the inside of my truck looked like. But I didn’t know what the outside looked like. And I went to the car lot and this Chevy, phenomenally beautiful, brand new truck pulls right up, because we’re going to test drive and check it out. And the inside of it is exactly like my dream. And I drove off the lot with that truck. It was my my truck. It was so…yeah, so great. 283 miles on it.

[Now,] My daughter wants to go to a Power and Love. So we go up in June to Michigan. I take her to a Power and Love and she gets touched by the Holy Spirit. And when she gets off the floor, she’s like, “Mom, I’m supposed to go to LC Lifestyle Christianity University.” I said “Okay, well, God will provide a way,” because I already knew He would you know, the things He had done were phenomenal. And so I started house searching for down here [Texas.]

This is crazy. I’m looking on my laptop for a place to rent, because I’m thinking I’ve got a brand new travel trailer and truck, I’m going on the road. And I’m gonna put my daughter in college down here in a Christian university and it’s gonna be awesome. And this house keeps popping up. It’s a quarter million dollar house, six bedrooms. I’m like, this is not my dream. I’ve got a new travel trailer, you know. This is, nope. That’s not going to work at all. And all of a sudden, my phone rings as I’m house hunting within the same week. And it’s a stinking real estate agent for this house. And I’m like, Are you kidding me? He’s like, well, let’s just video through it. And I’m like, I’m telling you, I’m really not interested in it unless it’s for rent. I already knew, because the prices, that would be really hard on me. The whole thing was ordained. I mean, it was just God’s doing. Then the video didn’t even work. I didn’t even walk in this house. I was handed the cashier’s check, came down here, had everything set up with the real estate agent, and went to the title company. I handed them the cashier’s check, got everything lined up, signed, house paid in full. They handed me the keys. That was the first time I walked in the house. I walked in the house, had furniture delivered, and while the guy was setting up the furniture…Like, I had walked in, prayed over the house about 10 a.m. and the furniture came at noon. And as the guy’s setting up the furniture, he’s like, “this is crazy, but I just feel the presence of God in this house.” And I’m like, Yes, this is his house!

I rented all the rooms. We only split one room and then I did single rooms, but made it completely affordable for students. They came in September, early September. And now I’m like a part of His plan in the midst of all of it. I mean, it’s my house but it’s His house. So it’s His house, but I get to be the steward of it, you know? And I named my truck “The King’s Chariot” because it’s His truck and I just go wherever He tells me to go.

I want to walk in radical love and radical obedience and radical gratitude and radical humility and I think that equals the favor of God. And He’s so faithful to provide. There’s so many events in between all of this. So it’s not like it’s all coast and easy. It’s so not, but it’s so worth it. God is so worth it.

A lot of people from my past, it’s crazy, even family see where God has me right now. [And they’re] like, “Wow, look at your truck and look at your house.” But they don’t understand the things that, that full surrender and what that really looks like. You know? I mean, my first book, it goes into a lot of detail. The things I went through and yeah, it’s not like it was overnight. People see where you are now and they don’t realize where you came from. There are still struggles, but wow, it’s worth it because God is so good. Yeah, so that’s … and my kid has transformed her life. Her whole life has changed. She prays for people, she is witnessing healings, and she’s been a part of all of this. Everything. It’s so good. Sooo good.

So yeah, that’s that’s pretty much it.
